    Welcome to The Red Thread Atelier!

    We are a new Local Needlepoint Store, aka LNS, in New York that opened in October 2023. We are looking to make needlepoint chic again and bring things to you that aren't seen at other shops.

    My name is Vaughn Dorrian. I’m a wife and mother to three; 15, 18 and 20. I started stitching in January of 2022. I love the mental yoga of needlepoint. Stitching while watching TV or listening to an audiobook are my two favorite pastimes. I love the new needlepoint designers out there, as well as the classics, and I'm excited to bring them to you! Experienced or novice this is a place for everyone!! I'm all about building community, needlepointing and having fun, one Red Thread at a time!
