RED THREAD SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Domestic Shipping

RT ships packages via USPS.  There are two choices. There is an economy flat rate of $10, including shipping and handling fees and a Priority rate of $20 if you need something faster.

RT is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Customers are responsible for entering the correct mailing address in checkout, so please double check before finalizing check out. If a package is lost please contact your local post office, in person is best. They are able to flag it for you and you can also file a claim with them for reimbursement.  

Turn Around Time and Tracking

Orders are mailed out on Wednesday’s and Friday’s. 

Please allow for processing time, even if you receive a tracking number or shipping notice immediately. Keep in mind that we are closed Sunday thru Tuesday. You will receive a tracking number once we have fulfilled your order.

 If you requested your order to be kitted with fibers, please allow up to an extra week for your order to be adjusted.  We will email you an updated invoice for the cost of threads.  Please check your SPAM folder for this invoice. Once the invoice is settled, we will send your complete order.

US Shipping Prices

*Free Standard Shipping on orders over $150.  The discount will be applied in the checkout automatically.  Some finishing items may not be eligible for offer due to size/insurance requirements.

Shipping for Finishing

We automatically add the “signature required” option, and cost associated, when shipping finishing. This may be declined with an email stating you release the store of any loss, theft or damage occurs.  We hope you understand this policy.

International Shipping 

International shipping is provided through various carriers.  Any applicable duties are the responsibility of the customer.  

In addition, RT is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Returns & Refunds

Although we hope every customer is a happy one, returns are handled case by case. To initiate a return email hello@theredthreadatelier.com. 

If the return is agreed upon, a return label can be provided ($10 fee will be deducted from available credit) . 

A store credit in the form of a gift card (less all shipping charges) will be issued once it is determined that the product does not violate our Return Conditions. RT cannot accept returns for the following:

  • Canvases that have been stitched or damaged
  • Canvases that have had any customization
  • Canvases that are the “wrong size” or "wrong mesh"
  • Typically, we do not offer returns or exchanges on fiber. Once something leaves the store, it can be exposed to irritants, sunlight and moisture and we want everyone to have that fresh fiber experience.
  • RT does not accept returns on any finishing
